Memorandum of Understanding between Ukraine and Romania in the space sector

State Space Agency of Ukraine and the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the exploration and use of outer space for peaceful purposes.

MOU signing ceremony took place on April 27 during the visit of the delegation of the State Space Agency of Ukraine headed by First Deputy Head Oleksandr Holub to the city. Bucharest (Romania).

Among other things, the document identifies potential areas of cooperation, such as the fundamental space science, meteorology, remote sensing, instrumentation, advanced space technology, space vehicles and other scientific purpose.

Alexander Golub during the signing of the Memorandum said that the existence of the legal base of bilateral cooperation in the space sphere between Ukraine and Romania will begin to initiate practical cooperation between space agencies and enterprises of the two countries.

During the visit, the delegation visited the DKA National Center for Aerospace Research «INCAS» in BC. p. Magurele and got acquainted with the scientific development of Romania in the space sector.
