2 February 2026 year company Helios Inc. (Tokyo, Japan), which develops the analysis of remote sensing data and creates the "Earth Intelligence Infrastructure", announced the beginning of offering the beta version of "Helios Platform", which uses AI to analyze vast arrays of satellite and geospatial data in real time.
The main features of the new platform:
Interactivity: Users can ask questions in natural language (through the chat interface), to find changes in the infrastructure, logistics or the condition of crops in specific territories.
Data sources: The system integrates data from Planet Labs, Sentinel and proprietary processing algorithms for anomaly detection.
Access: The beta version is currently open to a limited number of corporate customers and government agencies via the official Helios Space website.
Goal: Simplify access to complex space analytics for people, who are not professional cartographers or data analysts. This decision is part of the trend on “democratization of space”, where satellite images are transformed into understandable business insights.
