17 June 2026 year Fr. 03:58 (UTC) from the center of launch of Juzuan satellites, Chinese People's Republic with the help of a rocket carrier «Kuaizhou 11» the launch of China's spacecraft group of the mission was carried out «CentiSpace-1 Group 05».
CentiSpace (Weili Kongjian) — Chinese commercial satellite navigation system of the new generation, which operates in low orbits (LEO) and is designed to supplement global navigation systems.
The main idea is to use numerous satellites at an altitude of several hundred kilometers for:
- increasing positioning accuracy to the centimeter level;
- faster determination of coordinates;
- improving navigation in cities and difficult environments;
- support for autonomous transport;
- high-precision time and network synchronization.
CentiSpace is one of the most ambitious Chinese commercial projects in the field of LEO-PNT (Low Earth Orbit Positioning, Navigation and Timing) — navigation and time determination using low-orbit satellites.
In fact, China is creating a system, which can become an analogue or a supplement to traditional mid-orbit navigation groups, providing significantly higher accuracy and stability of the signal.
The official composition of the KA mission group «CentiSpace-1 Group 05» not yet fully revealed, but it is known, that they are part of a planned grouping with 160 satellites.
