10 September 2026 year Fr. 09:00 (UTC) from the center of launch of Juzuan satellites, Chinese People's Republic with the help of a rocket carrier «Long March 4В» six satellites of China's DZZ mission were launched «Yaogan 53-01 to 03/56-01 to 03».
The official Chinese announcements regarding this particular group do not yet reveal the characteristics of the sensors, mass, manufacturer and the specific functional purpose of each of the six CAs. This is typical of the Chinese Yaogan series, which is formally described as a series of Earth remote sensing satellites, but a significant part of the devices of the series is considered to be related to state and military tasks.
For previous ones Yaogan China used wording like "remote sensing", "resource research", "yield monitoring", "prevention and elimination of the consequences of natural disasters", however, independent sources have repeatedly linked individual Yaogan groups to intelligence capabilities. Example, the previous Yaogan triplets were launched into orbits with similar characteristics, and their actual military assignment was not officially confirmed.
The most important feature — simultaneous output of two groups Yaogan: 53-01...03 and 56-01...03, that is, six KA. In structure, it resembles the Chinese practice of forming small groups/threes of Yaogan, that can work together. Simultaneously, do not automatically call them optical or radar satellites. There is currently not enough data in open sources, to reliably establish the payload type. For some other Yaogan, the orbital parameters suggested the use of a synthesized aperture radar (SAR), optical systems or other sensors, but for this six it is only a guess.
Precise parameters of the orbit Yaogan-53-01…03 / 56-01…03 have not yet appeared in open catalogs. This is normal for Chinese government/military missions: the launch is reported first, and NORAD ID / COSPAR IDs and first TLEs appear later after international cataloging.
Chinese Aerospace Scientific and Technical Corporation Hull - is the main contractor of the Chinese space program. It is a state and has a number of subordinate organizations, which project, develop and produce a number of spacecraft, launch vehicles, strategic and tactical rocket systems, land equipment.
