The Tianzhou-10 cargo spacecraft has arrived at the Tiangong Space Station

11 May 2026 China launched the cargo spacecraft Tianzhou-10, which successfully docked with the Tiangong space station. The main goal of the mission is the delivery of provisions, technical equipment, fuel and materials for scientific experiments. This flight was China's 27th orbital launch in 2026 year, while in general during the year the country plans to make more than 100 space launches.

According to the Chinese Bureau of Manned Space Engineering (CMSEO), the ship had on board a new space suit for going into outer space, running track, close 700 kilograms of fuel, consumables for future crews, as well as over 220 spare parts and components for maintenance. At the same time, "Tianzhou-10" delivered five scientific complexes for a comprehensive study of the impact of the space environment on zebrafish embryos, mice, and also on artificial embryos, derived from stem cells. The new instruments focus on the study of damage, which mammalian embryos undergo in the early stages of development in space, regulatory mechanisms of bone loss, changes in the myocardium in microgravity conditions, as well as features of the development of artificial human embryos in orbit. in addition, the ship was transporting samples of flexible encapsulated monocrystalline silicon solar cells, developed by the Shanghai Institute of Microsystems and Information Technologies (SIMIT) – дослідницьким центром Китайської академії наук (CAS).
