Los Angeles-based AnySignal attracted 24 million in Series A funding to expand manufacturing of its space-based wireless communications and sensing platforms, autonomous systems and national security goals.
Financing details
The round of financing was led by the venture capital company Upfront Ventures with the participation of BlueYard Capital, First In Ventures and other strategic investors. The total volume of funds raised by AnySignal to date is 35,7 Millions of US dollars.
Technology and application
AnySignal develops a vertically integrated platform, which uses AI-enabled software-defined systems to detect, radio frequency identification and management (RC) signals in complex electromagnetic environments.
Currently, AnySignal radios are already in use in several orbital missions, and more 12 spacecraft are scheduled to launch with their equipment within the next year.
The main areas of application include:
Cosmic connection: providing reliable communications for low-Earth orbit missions (LEO), geostationary orbit (GEO) and even lunar missions.
National security: support of electronic warfare systems, radar systems and increasing situational awareness.
Autonomous systems: providing secure and high-speed RF communications for unmanned platforms.
Plans for the use of funds
Production scaling: the funds will be used to increase production of the company's product line.
New object: AnySignal is building a new facility in the Los Angeles area, which will unite the entire development cycle – from designing algorithms to high-speed production.
Team expansion: the company plans to increase the number of employees from 40 to 100 over the next 12 months.
