Spanish space propulsion startup Arkadia Space has signed an agreement to supply engines for a satellite, which is built by the German company Reflex Aerospace.
For reference: Reflex Aerospace specializes in development, design and rapid production of high-performance satellite platforms for commercial and defense applications.
Under the terms of the contract, Arkadia will supply 5-newton engines on ecological fuel — hydrogen peroxide, a fuel tank and electronics for a German satellite. Reflex Aerospace CEO Walter Ballheimer noted, that the synergy of environmental technologies, modular architecture and the ability to quickly adapt to the customer's requirements makes their propulsion systems a reliable solution for the implementation of their project. Against the background of growing demand for engines, that work on hydrogen peroxide, the Spanish company expects significant financial success.
