SpaceX Crew-11 Mission Astronauts arrived at the International Space Station

Four SpaceX CREW-11 Mission Astronauts arrived in MKS. Crew Dragon Endeavur capsule faced the station 2 August Fr. 02:26 in the Eastern time (09:26 outside Kyiv), less than through 15 hours after launch on a Falcon rocket 9 from Florida's Space Coast.

The hatches between the devices opened close 04:45 in the Eastern time (11:45 outside Kyiv), and the welcoming ceremony took place about an hour later. The docking coincided with the fifth anniversary of the landing of SpaceX's first manned mission, Demo-2, which carried NASA astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley to the ISS for two months, also using Crew Dragon Endeavour.

The Crew-11 mission is led by NASA astronaut Zena Cardman. Her colleagues: pilot Mike Finke (NASA), Kimiya Yui (JAXA) and Oleg Platonov (Roscosmos), the last two are mission specialists. For Cardman and Platonov, this is the first flight, for Yui - the second, for Finke - the fourth. This is the sixth flight for the Endeavor capsule, making it SpaceX's most active manned capsule.

Astronauts joined seven people on the ISS: the commander of the expedition 73 Such Onishis (JAXA), NASA astronauts Ann McClain, Nicole Ayers, Johnny Kim and Roskosmos cosmonauts Kyryll Peskov, Serhiy Ryzhikov and Oleksiy Zubrytskyi. Crew-11 will replace Ayers, McClain, Onishi and Peskova, which arrived at the ISS in March as part of the Crew-10 mission. Crew-10 will return to Earth in a few days after handing over duties.

Crew-11 is SpaceX's 11th operational mission for NASA to the ISS.
