19 December 2025 Axelspace Corporation (Chuo-ku, Tokyo) announced the signing of a partnership agreement with Nara Space Technology (Seoul, South Korea) for products based on satellite imagery.
Image from the constellation of small Earth observation satellites GRUS-1, operated by Axelspace, will be provided through EarthPaper, geospace platform, which is managed by Nara Space.
Through this cooperation, the two companies aim to strengthen the international platform for the distribution of satellite data and promote its expanded use in such industries, as research, business and education.
Axelspace currently operates five ground-resolution optical imaging satellites 2,5 meters, but announced plans to launch seven next-generation Earth observation satellites GRUS-3 in 2026 year, which will improve the shooting frequency and capabilities. The launch is planned from the Vandenberg Space Center in the United States using a SpaceX Falcon rocket 9.
