The NS-33 mission continued 10 minutes and went according to plan: the booster module successfully made a vertical landing, and the capsule with the crew, “RSS Kármán Line”, returned to Earth using parachutes and air brakes. At the moment of apogee, that reached 105,2 km, passengers were able to see the curvature of the Earth and experience a state of weightlessness for several minutes.
On board were also over 1 000 physical and digital postcards, created by students and the public. They were collected by the Aviation Museum in Seattle and Parkcrest School in British Columbia as part of the Club for the Future charitable foundation initiative.
The company traditionally did not disclose the cost of seats on board the NS-33. Among the passengers were representatives of various professions — from ecologists and lawyers to entrepreneurs and former managers of transport companies. The participants of the flight chose a name for themselves “The Solstice 33”, since the launch was originally planned for the summer solstice — 21 June.
