British company Orbex, specializing in orbital launches, entered into a strategic five-year partnership with the German Exolaunch, launch service provider, mission management, deployment and integration systems for small satellites. This cooperation is aimed at providing comprehensive services for the launch of small satellites, which meets the growing demand for such options.
Partnership provides, that Exolaunch will use Orbex launch capabilities and integrate customer payloads with Orbex Prime launch vehicles and the new medium-sized Proxima rocket. In return, Orbex will gain access to Exolaunch's deployment systems, joint venture structures and their global market network. The collaboration will also cover the upcoming Orbex Prime and Proxima missions, to meet the growing demand for micro launches- and cubesats.
