The French company received a grant of half a million euros, to forecast grain yield in Ukraine

EarthDaily received €480,000. grant from the French government, to help Ukraine improve agricultural monitoring. This was reported by the company's press service. The project is implemented through the French company GEOSYS, which is part of EarthDaily.

It is about creating a system, which will make it possible to estimate the area of crops and forecast the yield in the regions of Ukraine right during the season. This will help the state better monitor the situation in the agricultural sector and make decisions faster. The project will use satellite data and artificial intelligence models. In particular, will analyze the main crops - wheat, barley, rapeseed, sunflower and corn.

The company notes, that such tools make it possible to receive up-to-date information about the state of crops in almost real time, which is important for food security and market stability. The project is designed for several years. Within its limits, reports on the area of crops will be prepared regularly, yield and production by region.

The grant was approved back in November 2025 year, and implementation is coordinated by the French state institution BPI France with the support of the French Embassy in Ukraine.
