Honeywell has successfully reached data transmission on Viasat through its new Jetwave X satellite system. This has become a key step on the way to completion and technology -based development and certification 2025 year.
Jetwave X provides stable, high -speed connection around the world, compared to home or office internet, which is a significant step in supporting the concept of the future of aviation. The system supports easier installation and upgrades compared to the previous generation of JetWave, which is already used for approx 2000 business jets.
The system has already been selected for use on Bombardier and Dassault aircraft, and availability for other platforms is expected to be announced in the second half 2025 year. The combination of JetWave X with the JetXP service will provide an even higher level of communication for business aviation, supported by Honeywell's global service network.
