India's LVM3 rocket is preparing for its fifth operational launch (LVM3-M5), which is scheduled for 2 November 2025 year. The CMS communication satellite will be on board-03 — the most massive in the history of India, weight about 4,4 tons.
CMS satellite-03 will provide multi-band communication for India and adjacent oceanic territories. It will be launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikot.
26 in October, the launch vehicle was fully assembled, integrated with the satellite and transported to the launch pad for final pre-launch checks.
The previous LVM3 mission delivered the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft to the Moon, which made India the first country, that successfully landed near the south pole of the Moon.
