28 November 2025 year Fr. 18:44 (UTC) from Vandenberg Air Force Base, California, USA with the help of the Russian Federation «Falcon 9 Block 5» a cluster launch of spacecraft with different mission objectives was carried out «Transporter 15».
Mission «Transporter 15» includes 140 KA, cubits, microsatellites, orbital tugs from dozens of customers from all over the world.
«FORMOSAT 8A» – this is a planned constellation of Earth observation satellites, consisting of six high-resolution optical remote sensing satellites with resolution 1 meters, which is developed by the Taiwanese NSPO.
«IRIDE-MS1-EAGLET2» – is part of the IRIDE Earth observation constellation, built by the Italian Space Agency ASI with the support of the European Space Agency (THIS) and ASI. The payload is one of two types of multispectral sensors: these sensors capture images with several spectral channels of the electromagnetic spectrum, which allows different materials to be identified and measured, explore the ground cover, state of vegetation and types of agricultural crops.
«W-Series» – is a series of spacecraft, developed by Varda Space Industries, which will spend up to three months in orbit to test space manufacturing technologies. After completing this mission, the capsule will return the material to Earth, produced in orbit.
«ICEYE X4» – they are satellites in the constellation of microsatellites, equipped with SAR (synthetic aperture radar) X-range, developed by the Finnish startup company ICEYE. ICEYE is designed to provide near real-time, related to remote space scanning (SAR). Iceye is working to launch and operate a constellation of microsatellites, equipped with its own compact and efficient SAR sensor technology. The ICEYE radar can acquire images through clouds, obscuring weather and darkness.
«Flock 4H» – it's a group launch with 36 Planet Labs PBC's SuperDove small satellites (USA) for optical observation of the Earth. These are cubes of about 3U format, which work as part of the large orbital "constellation" PlanetScope and provide daily monitoring of the Earth's surface in several spectral ranges.
«Pelican‑5 и Pelican‑6» – These are the new satellites of the first generation of the Planet Labs constellation. They are capable of providing optical images of the Earth with a resolution close to 50 cm in six multispectral bands.
«ÑuSat» – this is a series of Argentine Earth remote sensing microsatellites, which are created and operated by the Satellogic company within the Aleph‑1 group. Their camera (ÑuSat-Imager) provides a resolution of approx 1 meter per pixel, which makes it possible to receive images of the Earth with regular updates.
«Lemur-2» – is a series of small satellites (mostly 3U CubeSats) by Spire Global, created for multifunctional monitoring of the Earth: meteorology, vessel and aircraft tracking, as well as radio data collection.
"Shadow-SAR" – is a constellation of small SAR observation satellites of the Umbra Lab company (USA), which operate in the X-band and provide very high resolution images up to 25 cm in any weather, they have a mass close to 70 Kg, located in sun-synchronous orbits ~500–560 km.
Others: micro satellites and cubesats for scientific and commercial purposes.
