14 October 2026 year Fr. 11:40 (UTC) from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, China, with the help of the "ZhuQue-2E Block 2" launch vehicle, China's 10th space vehicle was launched.
«XSD-39, XSD-44, XSD-45, XSD-46, XSD-47, XSD-48, XSD-49, XSD-50» – is a cluster of 8 satellites of the XSD series, developed by ADA Space (Chengdu Guoxing Aerospace Technology Co., Ltd.), is part of a large-scale program to create a space supercomputer and deploy an orbital network of artificial intelligence. The satellites of this cluster are equipped with their own large AI models (LLM) and have a total computing power of several petaoperations per second, forming the world's first distributed space data center. Cluster satellites will conduct technological verification of high-performance computing payloads, high-speed intersatellite and satellite-ground laser communication.
«LT-03, LT-04» — satellites of a new generation, developed by the LandTower company for testing laser data transmission technologies in satellite networks. During specialized orbital tests, key onboard technologies will be tested, in particular, high-performance integrated processors, high-speed laser communication systems with a large aperture, integrated laser routing modules and new solar power systems. The test results will make it possible to improve technological solutions, necessary for the further deployment of large-scale satellite groups.
"ZhuQue-2E Block 2" is a medium-sized launch vehicle powered by liquid oxygen and methane. She is able to bring out to 6000 kg of payload on low Earth orbit (close 200 km) or to 4000 kg into a sun-synchronous orbit with an altitude of approx 500 km.
Currently, the ZhuQue-2E Block 2 is considered one of the largest private rockets in China and the world's first methane-powered orbital rocket, which achieved successful payload removal.
