«Blue Ghost Lunar Lander Mission 1» is the company's first lunar mission Firefly Aerospace, organized as part of the program NASA Commercial Lunar Payload Services (CLPS). Its main goal is to deliver scientific and technological equipment to the surface of the moon to support the program Artemis. Landing module «Blue Ghost» will be able to transport to 150 kg of cargo and will carry out research in the Sea of Kryz area. The payload includes instruments for studying thermal radiation, impact of lunar dust and testing of new technologies.
«Hakuto-R Mission 2 (M2)» is the second mission of the Japanese company Ispace, aimed at the study of the Moon, as well as delivery of useful cargo to the surface of the moon, testing landing systems, energy supply and communications.
The mission includes a module RESILIENCE and a micro-rover TENACIOUS, designed to collect data on the lunar soil and test technologies for future missions.
«Hakuto-R Mission 1» previous mission of the company Іspace, failed in 2023 years during the attempt to land on the moon. Based on this experience, the structure of the microrover was improved and new landing algorithms were developed to ensure the success of the second mission.
