13 November 2025 year Fr. 20:50 (UTC) from Cape Canaveral, California, USA, launch was carried out using the "New Glenn" launch vehicle 2 SC "EscaPADE".
«EscaPADE (Escape and Plasma Acceleration and Dynamics Explorers)» – this is a US interplanetary mission, developed by the University of California at Berkeley (UC Berkeley Space Sciences Laboratory) supported by NASA. It includes two identical small satellites Blue and Gold, created on the basis of the Photon platform from Rocket Lab. The purpose of the mission is to investigate, how the solar wind and magnetic fields affect the Martian atmosphere. The devices are equipped with devices for measuring the magnetic field, flows of ions and electrons, which will allow studying the plasma dynamics in the upper layers of the planet's atmosphere. Both vehicles will move in elliptical orbits around Mars, but at different points to observe the spatial changes of the plasma simultaneously from two positions.
RN "New Glenn" – it is a heavy multiple launch vehicle, created by the American company Blue Origin. The rocket has two stages, runs on liquid methane and oxygen, equipped with seven BE-4 engines on the first stage and one BE-3U on the second. The first stage of the rocket is capable of returning to Earth and making a vertical landing for reuse.
