01 July 2026 year Fr. 23:46 (UTC) from the center of launch of Juzuan satellites, China launched the Chinese satellite "Haiyang 2E" using the "Long March 4B" launch vehicle.
"Haiyang 2E" is a maritime remote sensing satellite of China. The main purpose of the HY-2 series is to measure ocean dynamics and regional environmental trends in the microwave spectral range, as well as the measurement of such parameters, as a sea wind vector, sea surface heat and sea surface temperature (SST). This real-time ocean dynamics data aids in aeronautical forecasting for disaster prevention and relief. Among the transported devices: * Microwave radiometric thermal imager (MWRI) * Radar altimeter (RA) * Ku-band rotating fan beam (SCAT).
