14 December 2025 year Fr. 03:09 (UTC) from the launch complex LC-1B, Mahia Peninsula, New Zealand using a launch vehicle «Rocket Lab Electron “It’s Business Time” Launch» launched a ka «RAISE-4».
«Raise And Shine» is a launch vehicle mission «Electron», the purpose of which is to launch an experimental Japanese demonstration spacecraft into orbit «RAISE-4» (RApid Innovative payload demonstration SatellitE-4) within the JAXA program "Innovative Satellite Technology Demonstration".
KA "RAISE-4" repeats the mission of its predecessor, KA «RAISE-3», which was lost during a failed rocket launch «Epsilon-S» in October 2022 year. RAISE is a demonstrator platform, which provides companies, universities and research institutes the opportunity to test new components and solutions in real orbit conditions and to transfer experimental data to demonstration operators. The idea of the program is to speed up the verification of risk technologies and lower the barrier to orbit for private developers. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries is the manufacturer and contractor for the production and operation of the platform (MHI).
PH «Electron» — a two-stage disposable launch vehicle (with an optional third stage), developed by the American aerospace company Rocket Lab and designed to launch small satellites and cubesats into sun-synchronous orbit and low Earth orbit.
