Information reference on the launch of the Shijian 31 spacecraft

16 June 2026 year Fr. 09:45 (UTC) from the Sichan Launch Center, China using a launch vehicle «Long March 3B/E» China's spacecraft was launched «Shijian 31».

According to official reports, "Shijian 31" is intended for researching the space environment and working out new technologies, which can be used in future space missions. The actual purpose is unknown.

«Long March 3B» – disposable three-stage launch vehicle with four lateral liquid-propellant rocket boosters, this is the heaviest version of the Long March missile family 3 and is primarily used to place communications satellites in geostationary orbits.
