15 September 2026 year Fr. 06:26 (UTC) from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, China, with the help of the "ZhuQue-2E Block 2" launch vehicle, the 10th Chinese space vehicle "SpaceSail Polar Group 15" was launched.
«SpaceSail Polar Group 15» – is a group of 10 communication satellites in low Earth orbit with a payload in the Ku bands, Q and V for grouping "G60 (QUIAFAN)», which are operated by Shanghai Spacecom Satellite Technology (SSST). The group is positioned as an analogue of the Starlink group. The initial grouping will consist of 1296 satellites to 2027 year with long-term plans to expand it to 12000 satellites.
"ZhuQue-2E Block 2" is a medium-sized launch vehicle powered by liquid oxygen and methane. She is able to bring out to 6000 kg of payload on low Earth orbit (close 200 km) or to 4000 kg into a sun-synchronous orbit with an altitude of approx 500 km.
Currently, the ZhuQue-2E Block 2 is considered one of the largest private rockets in China and the world's first methane-powered orbital rocket, which achieved successful payload removal.
