18 September 2026 year Fr. 03:22 (UTC) from the launch complex LC-1B, Mahia Peninsula, UTC, Japan's StriX-10 spacecraft was launched using the Electron launch vehicle.
«StriX-10» – this is a spacecraft from the Japanese company Synspective, which has its own group of satellites with synthesized aperture radars (SAR) with resolution 1-3 city, and the width of the line of sight 10-30 km. Spacecraft are designed to receive images, which make it possible to detect changes in the Earth's surface from space.
Mission "Owl By The Dozen" – Rocket Lab's twelfth launch for Synspective. Rocket Lab is the sole provider of launch services for Synspective with 2020 year. To 2030 year is still planned 15 missions.
RN "Electron" is a two-stage disposable launch vehicle developed by the American aerospace company Rocket Lab and designed to launch small satellites and cubesats into sun-synchronous orbit and low Earth orbit.
This launch will expand the grouping of the "StriX" spacecraft by another 1 KA. At the moment, the group consists of 9 KA. It is planned, that the "StriX" spacecraft group will count 27 satellites.
