Informational note on the launch of the ViaSat-3 F3 spacecraft

29 April 2026 year Fr. 14:13 (UTC) from the Kennedy Space Center, Florida, USA using a launch vehicle «Falcon Heavy» the spacecraft was launched "ViaSat-3 F3".

"ViaSat-3 F3" – it is the third satellite in a series of high-performance geostationary communications satellites, developed by an American company Viasat Inc. in cooperation with Boeing Satellite Systems.

Expected, that satellites of the series ViaSat-3 in the Ka-band will have very high data transfer speed and operational flexibility. The first satellite is working over America, the second covers Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and the third is for the Asia-Pacific region, which will complete the global coverage of the Viasat network.

Each class companion ViaSat-3 will be able to provide bandwidth over 1 terabits per second and promptly redirect your resources to those areas, where the demand for communication is greatest.
