06 September 2025 year Fr. 16:34 (UTC) from the center of launch of Tayuan satellites, China using a launch vehicle «Long March 6А» three Chinese space vehicles were launched «Yaogan 40 Group 03».
«Yaogan 40 Group 03» – these are three satellites, developed by the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (Hull). The purpose of the satellites is not disclosed, however, according to Chinese official sources, these satellites will be used to monitor the electromagnetic environment over certain areas of the Earth, and will also perform related technological tests. In open sources it is assumed, that satellites of the series «Yaogan» serve as civilians, so and military users of China.
«Long March 6А» — a Chinese launch vehicle of the Long March family, developed by the Chinese Aerospace and Technology Corporation (Hull) and Shanghai Academy of Space Flight Technology (Hes). This rocket is a further development of Long March 6. It is equipped with two YF-100 engines on the first degree, complemented.
This launch will increase the grouping of Chinese satellites of the type «Yaogan 40» on 3 KA. Currently, the group consists of 6 KA.
