Informational reference regarding the launch of the "Zhongke" spacecraft 14-15 (AIRSAT)» and others

25 August 2026 year Fr. 03:21 (UTC) from the Taiyuan Launch Center, China, launch was carried out using the "Long March 6C" launch vehicle 7 KA of various purposes.

SC "Zhongke Satellite-14 and Zhongke Satellite-15" – two Chinese Earth remote sensing satellites, developed by Zhongke Satellite Technology Group within the AIRSAT commercial group. The main purpose of the devices – radar DZZ in the X-band, acquisition of images of the earth's surface and monitoring of natural resources, infrastructure and geological changes. The use of two satellites should increase the efficiency and frequency of surveying the territories.

SC "Muduo-1A and Muduo-1B" – a pair of Chinese scientific, technological and educational satellites, created within the framework of the Muduo project with the participation of Beijing Normal University (Beijing Pedagogical University). The devices are intended for conducting technological experiments in Earth orbit, testing of satellite systems, on-board data processing and research in the field of remote sensing of the Earth. The paired configuration allows you to conduct joint experiments and practice the interaction of several spacecraft; there is still little open information about the specific division of tasks between Muduo-1A and Muduo-1B.

«Jing’an Mengxiang» (Jing'an's dream) – Chinese scientific and educational satellite, created within the framework of the program of the same name in the Jing'an district of Shanghai with the participation of students, teachers and engineers of the aerospace industry. Its main purpose is to conduct educational and scientific experiments in space, in particular, the study of the behavior of materials in microgravity and cosmic radiation conditions, as well as practicing amateur radio communication and satellite communication.

"Baby-04» is a Chinese small satellite of scientific, educational and amateur radio direction. The name is related to the Chinese military-patriotic/educational theme, and the device is a continuation of a series of small satellites, focused on training young specialists and conducting experiments with space communication. Educational experiments are among the main tasks, satellite radio communication, transmission of telemetry and technological demonstration of on-board systems.

«Yinhe Hangtian Lingzhi-09 Thailand Cube», also known as GISTDA Cube Sat 1 – Thai CubeSat, created by the Chinese company Galaxy Space for the Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (IN GIST) Thailand. The main purpose of the device is remote sensing of the Earth, collecting data on the territory of Thailand for the needs of monitoring land resources, of agriculture and ecology. In addition to practical work, the satellite has an educational function: its use involves supporting Thai universities in teaching satellite design, management of space vehicles and application of data from space stations. This is also the first time, when a Chinese private space company completed a full development cycle for a Southeast Asian client, production, launch and subsequent commissioning of the satellite.
