Long March 12A (CZ-12A) – modified RN Long March 12, which was developed as part of China's transition to more environmentally friendly and commercially oriented launch systems. The rocket is built according to a two-stage scheme and uses the "liquid oxygen" communication + methane (LOX/CH-4)». Expected, that the CZ-12A will be able to launch about 10-12 tons of payload into low Earth orbit, at the same time, version "A" is considered as an improved configuration - with refinement for operation and possible elements of reusability of the first stage in the future.
Payload is not reported. The first stage of the rocket will be tried to "land" on a special site approximately 300 km from the launch site.
According to the CCS
