On Friday, 6 June, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Russia Kazem Jalali held a meeting with the head of the Russian space agency "Roscosmos" Dmitry Bakanov. During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for the development of cooperation between the space agencies of the two countries.
The main attention was paid to the cooperation between Iran and Russia in the creation of advanced technologies, joint design and construction of satellites. In addition, it was about the joint development of infrastructure, organization of training courses, exchange of knowledge, opposition to Western sanctions, as well as support for joint initiatives, aimed at ensuring international peace and security.
