ISAR AEOROSPACE completes the test of the Spectrum rocket and prepares for the first flight

ISAR AEOROSPACE has successfully completed static firing tests of both degrees of Spectrum rocket and start preparations for the first test flight. The launch will take place from the Andoja spaceport in Norway after receiving permission from the Norwegian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).

Successful tests and qualification for flight:

  • 14 February 2025 In 2016, Isar Aerospace conducted a 30-second first-stage static test using nine engines.
  • The second degree was qualified in the third quarter 2024 year.
  • The company carries out the full cycle of missile development - from design and production to testing and launch.

The first test flight will be the first orbital launch from continental Europe.

Preparation for the flight and further plans:

  • All engines, main fairing and stage tests successfully completed.
  • The exact date of the first run depends on the NCAA's licensing process.
  • The flight will take place from the exclusive launch pad of Isar Aerospace at Andoya Cosmodrome.

The company is already working on the second and third copies of the Spectrum missile, that are in production.
