A team of developers from Kyiv won the prestigious NASA International Space Apps Challenge international hackathon

More than participated in the competition 90 thousands of people from all over the world, which created approx 10 thousands of projects. Close 1000 projects were evaluated directly by NASA, among which the Ukrainian team won.

Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, education, of science and technology - Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov said, that a team from Kyiv has developed an innovative NVS-knot application, which integrates satellite and hydrological data to assess soil moisture and reduce water risks during crop planting. For this development, they won the victory among the teams with 163 countries.

The NASA Space Apps Challenge is a hackathon, which unites science enthusiasts, technologies, design and innovation from around the world. Members have access to NASA open data and 48 hours for teamwork to solve real challenges, related to space, climate, technologies, navigation, etc.

This success emphasizes the innovative potential of Ukrainians and their ability to overcome any challenges.
