4 February 2026 of the year of the Qualis company, InTrack Radar Technologies and Tektonux have announced a definitive merger to create a single defense technology company, specializing in the modernization of missile defense and awareness in the space domain.
With the support of the private investment firm Bluestone Investment Partners, the new framework combines high-performance hardware with artificial intelligence-based software, to optimize the sensor-to-shooter chain for national security missions. The combined organization, led by Qualis CEO Rod Duke, has more than 400 specialists and has its main facilities in Huntsville, Colorado Springs and Eglin Air Force Base.
This merger is a strategic response to the increasing complexity of threats from nearly equal adversaries, which requires faster detection and tracking of targets in constantly changing combat scenarios. By integrating InTrack's expertise in ground-based radars and electro-optical sensors with advanced command and control software from Tektonux, the new company aims to create more flexible and sustainable systems for the US Space Force, Anti-missile defense agencies (space segment integrator) and NASA. One of the key features of the integrated portfolio is the Phoenix NexGen User Experience Framework, which uses artificial intelligence to improve human-machine interaction in critical, high-stakes combat environments.
For reference: Phoenix NexGen User Experience Framework is Qualis' flagship technology, designed to integrate AI agents into human teams, that control the systems, control and anti-missile defense
This merger is in line with broader DoD trends to deploy distributed low-orbit satellite systems and strengthen operations in the electromagnetic spectrum. The new company's capabilities also extend to advanced signal engineering and countermeasure signal collection, providing critical data for ballistic missile early warning systems and space surveillance. By combining three specialized companies, the new platform is able to adapt more quickly and produce specialized defense equipment and software at the speed of modern innovation.
