SkyFi expands virtual constellation with Vantor satellite images

Commercial geospatial intelligence firm SkyFi has added satellite imagery from Vantor to its platform, which specializes in geospatial intelligence. Thanks to this, it was possible to expand access to high-resolution Earth observation data for commercial and government users.

Agreement, announced 7 January 2026 year, provides, that Vantor products will become available through the SkyFi Marketplace. The company integrated "Vantor Hub" - a service for ordering pictures on demand - into the SkyFi platform, which will allow customers to receive Vantor content seamlessly. Vantor Chief Transformation Officer noted, that SkyFi's platform and its rapidly growing customer base make it a strong distribution partner.

The SkyFi company was founded in 2021 year for the creation of the "terrestrial intelligence" platform. Instead of operating its own satellites, it aggregates images and analytics from dozens of spacecraft, managed by partners, creating a virtual constellation. Users can use large archives of pictures, order new surveys or apply analytical tools for object detection and change monitoring, via the web- and mobile applications or software interface. SkyFi focuses on transparent pricing based on the principle of "pay-as-you-go" and self-ordering, what, according to the company, lowers barriers for smaller customers, while supporting users from the defense and intelligence spheres.

The co-founder and CEO of SkyFi said, that the integration of Vantor into the company's platform is an important step forward in making Earth observation data simple, affordable and cost-effective for business, as well as for individuals. The addition of Vantor strengthens SkyFi's role as an intermediary between satellite operators and an increasingly broad audience of customers.
The deal makes the company the largest virtual asset constellation in the world.
