French aerospace startup Latitude has officially signed a letter of intent with Oman's Etlaq Spaceport to conduct its first-ever test orbital launch from Oman at the end of 2027 year.
This historic agreement was concluded during the official state visit of Sultan of Oman Haisham bin Tariq to France and his meeting with President Emmanuel Macron at the end of June 2026 year. The partnership emphasizes the desire of both countries to jointly develop independent space capabilities against the background of new geopolitical balances.
