The US Space Force conducts, the largest in its history, training Resolute Space 2025 to prepare for a potential conflict in space. Over 700 military, in particular, allies and representatives of other branches of the US military, Scenarios work out, that include a radio -electronic struggle, navigation and orbital war, as well as spatial awareness (space domain awareness).
Training combines real space vehicles with virtual and synthetic environments, creating a situation as close as possible to combat conditions. Special attention is paid to the ability to counter the enemy's means of communication, interfere with GPS satellites and maneuver in orbit.
General Chen Salzman, head of the Space Force, emphasized, that the exercise demonstrates the determination of the US and its allies to win in space. The Resolute Space exercise is part of a broader Department-Level Exercise initiative (DLE), which covers four more large-scale exercises of the Air and Space Forces. They are called the largest since the Cold War.
The events take place on bases in Hawaii, Colorado, as well as in the post-Soviet region against the background of growing tensions with China, which is actively developing its own space capabilities.
