Paragon Space Development Corporation lays off 70 employees after that, as NASA officially stopped work on the lunar orbital station Lunar Gateway.
Main details of the event:
Cause: The staff cuts are directly related to the elimination of the Gateway program. Paragon was a key subcontractor for Northrop Grumman and was responsible for the development of the life support system (ECLSS) for HALO housing and logistics module (Habitation and Logistics Outpost).
Management's reaction: The head of the company noted, that the loss of the contract is a significant blow, however, it will not become fatal for business.
