The mission customer is not reported, And the useful load is confidential.
«Live, Laugh, Launch» is the second of two specialized missions using a launch vehicle «Electron», the purpose of which is to launch spacecraft into a sun-synchronous high-altitude orbit 650 km for a confidential commercial client.
According to open sources, the main possible payload may be a spacecraft «Lyra-2» — telecommunications satellite of the project Lyra Block-1 by EchoStar Global LLC (of EchoStar's Australian subsidiary). Project Lyra Block-1 involves the deployment of a network of S-band satellites for the transmission of Internet of Things data (IoT) and M2M services.
The additional payload is four cubic meters «Helios–Wire» size 6U–16U, intended for working out technological solutions for data transmission for M2M services in the S-band.
These specialized launches demonstrate Rocket Lab's strong capabilities in fast and flexible launches, as well as the increasing frequency of missions.
In view of 100% the success of all Electron launches this year, Rocket Lab is in constant demand among commercial satellite operators, civilian and government missions, and remains on track for another record year of launches.
