29 July 2025 year Fr. 04:00 (UTC) from the center of launch of Juzuan satellites, Chinese People's Republic, a launch vehicle was launched «Hyperbola‑1» with optical-electronic observation spacecraft «Kunpeng-03» .
«Kunpeng-03» – satellite, which, as it is considered, is the third spacecraft of the Kunpeng constellation, equipped with a computing "heart" the size of the palm of your hand, which is currently the smallest and lightest on-board core equipment in the commercial satellite industry. Eight-band, full color, the multispectral payload will be able to clearly transmit details of the Earth at altitude 500 kilometers with a resolution of up to 1 meters, image width 20 kilometers. Remote sensing data will be used in fields dealing with the study of natural resources, agriculture and ocean research.
Hyperbola-1 launch vehicle is a Chinese solid-propellant launch vehicle of a small class, developed by the private company i‑Space. The missile has four stages and is capable of delivering up to 300 kg of payload to low Earth or sun-synchronous orbit. Hyperbola‑1 is designed to launch small satellites and demonstrate new technologies within China's private space sector.
