President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated the connection between the imaging of the territory of Ukraine by Chinese satellites and Russian strikes on energy infrastructure facilities. The message about this appeared in Telegram after the briefing of the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine Oleg Ivashchenko, Ukrinform reports.
"In particular, we note the strengthening of ties between Russia and organizations in China, which can provide space intelligence data. Unfortunately, there is a correlation between Chinese satellite images of the territory of Ukraine and Russian strikes on the corresponding energy infrastructure facilities", - said Zelensky.
He noted, which treats such cases as actions, which allow Russia to prolong the war and make approaches to diplomacy less serious, and promised to raise this issue with partners.
"Intelligence received additional details on this matter, and important, so that our partners also know about them and take them into account in their defense measures. We think, that the aggressive proliferation of such weapons constitutes a global threat and creates a dangerous precedent", He emphasized. Separately, Zelenskyi also drew attention to Russia's attempts to withdraw its energy companies from global sanctions. According to him, this is done with the help of other temporary owners and numerous fictitious legal schemes. "We are monitoring all this and will communicate with our partners, to keep the pressure on, and that Russia could not make money from its war with the help of such manipulations", he said.
