The Italo-Dutch developer of satellite components Revolv Space has signed a contract with the French company Infinite Orbits. The French provider will use solar battery drives (NOW) from Revolv Space to optimize the energy supply of its devices, that will be served by satellites in geostationary orbit.
Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of Revolv Space, Filippo Oggionni, said, that according to the terms of the agreement, the company will supply SADA to the Toulouse company - this marks the entry of Revolv into the market of servicing satellites in orbit. The company has already launched over 20 units into low Earth orbit in four missions and delivered even more devices, which are awaiting integration and launch.
The latest contract proves it, that Revolv Space has the technical capabilities to deliver critical mechanisms and power generation technologies for complex missions, from satellite communications to on-orbit maintenance. At the same time, the company is increasing production capacity in Italy and is studying the possibility of expansion in Poland in order to supply integrated solar power systems for space vehicles. The new investment round is planned to be completed by the end 2026 year. Filippo Oggioni noted, that they are now actively investing in the growth of production capacity, to be able to support customers with groupings and meet their production rate requirements. For this, the company is working on a new round of financing to purchase production equipment and facilities, and also attracts new leading specialists to the team.
