SORA Technology, a drone and artificial intelligence company, enters the space business

Japanese company SORA Technology, which specializes in using drones and AI to combat infectious diseases (especially malaria), officially announced the acquisition of the startup Clavata, which specializes in satellite analytics.

This acquisition turned Clavata into a subsidiary and marked SORA Technology's full-fledged entry into the space sector.

Key details of the strategy:

Hybrid monitoring: Combining data from drones (низька висота) and satellites (space survey), the company plans to create a high-precision system for monitoring the earth's surface.

Artificial intelligence: Clavata technologies allow automatic analysis of satellite images to identify mosquito breeding sites, forecasting floods and assessing the state of agricultural land.

Global South: The main focus will remain on the countries of Africa and Southeast Asia, where SORA already has an extensive network of drone operations.

The move will allow SORA Technology to offer governments comprehensive space-to-ground solutions, which significantly increases the effectiveness of humanitarian and environmental missions.
