Starlink gets final permission to launch a satellite Internet in India

Satellite company Starlink, owned by Elon Musk, received final approval from IN-SPACe (Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre) to launch its satellite internet services in India.

It became possible after that, as the Indian government granted the company a license to provide GMPCS services in early June (of global mobile personal satellite communication), VSAT and Internet services of the ISP-A category within a single license system.

Starlink became the third operator, which has received permission to provide satellite communications in India, after OneWeb and Reliance Jio.
