Satellite images show damage to a base in Venezuela, where Maduro was captured

New satellite images show damage to Fort Fuerte Tiuna, military complex, where US troops captured Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro on Saturday.

Fuerte Tiuna, the largest military base in Venezuela, built on a mountain slope in the south of the capital Caracas. The base consists mainly of military facilities with fortifications and roads, winding around the complex.

Pictures “to” and “after”, published on Sunday by Vantor, specializing in space technology in Colorado and formerly known as Maxar Intelligence, show, that at least five buildings of the complex were destroyed by American troops. Cargo containers, military trucks and trailers were located near these structures, although unclear, what they had.
