Production of spectrometer models for the EnVision space probe is being launched in the Czech Republic

Czech scientists start production of spectrometer models, which will analyze the chemical composition of the atmosphere of the planet Venus and will become part of the European space probe EnVision.
Unlike previously created prototypes, new models will be equipped, in particular, radiation-resistant components.

The first model is planned to be created next year, and complete the production of the rest
in 2028 year. It is noted, that the probe will study the planet's environment in detail and help learn more about the processes, happening on Venus, and therefore also on other planets of the solar system.

According to Martin Ferus, representative of the Institute of Physical Chemistry named after. Geirovsky Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, the time will come, when the intensity of solar radiation exceeds the permissible limit (it is constantly and slowly growing), the oceans on Earth will also evaporate and the Earth will become similar
to Venus. Therefore, according to the scientist, now we see on Venus that, what will happen to the Earth in a billion years.
