Participation in the event and placing flowers on the chest of S.P. Korolev near the National Museum of Cosmonautics, named after him, took representatives of the Zhytomyr Regional Council, Zhytomyr City Council, structural subdivisions of Zhytomyr Oblast, Zhytomyr Military Institute named after. Serhiy Korolev raised numerous followers - scientists and engineers. A scholarship named after S.P. was founded in Zhytomyr. Korolev for students of higher educational institutions, many educational institutions are named in his honor, bridges and streets, in particular, the Zhytomyr Military Institute is named after an outstanding Zhytomyr resident.
