The Scottish Government's Directorate of Agriculture and Rural Economy has awarded a seven-figure contract to Planet Labs Germany (the European division of the American satellite giant Planet Labs) for the implementation of a system of continuous satellite monitoring with the help of artificial intelligence. The initiative is a key part of Scotland's ambitious Roadmap for Agricultural Reform, aimed at the transition to ecologically sustainable farming.
The main details and tasks of the project:

In the market, this strengthens the position of satellite technology as the main tool for precision and climate-optimized agriculture.
