The successful launch of a single-stage rocket in Poland opens a new stage in the development of national rocket technologies

15 April 2025 the year at the central landfill, created in the framework of the project "Development of a three -stage suborbital missile system for the removal of scientific cargoes". The project is implemented by a consortium within the military aviation plant # 1, Military Institute of Technical Weapons and Zakład Produkcji Specjalnej “Gamrat”, With the financial support of the National Center for Research and Development.

The rocket has successfully reached the planned flight parameters, Confirming the effectiveness of the Polish technologies applied and decisions. The test has become an important milestone for demonstrating the growing design and production potential of the team.

Missile characteristics and mission achievements:

The diameter of the body: 300 mm

Masa: 280 Kg

Payload: equivalent 40 Kg

Maximum speed: over 620 m/s

They were successfully tested during the mission:

Work of onboard Navigation and Management Systems;

Engine efficiency in real flight conditions;

Functionality of the Emergency System System;

reliability of telemetry systems;

aerodynamic characteristics.

Further development.

The results of work on the project will lay the foundation not only for the creation of a national launch vehicle, but also for development:

guided anti-aircraft missiles;

surface-to-surface tactical missiles.

Currently, the team analyzes the data collected during the flight to further optimize the system and prepare for longer and sophisticated flights using multi -stage structures.
