Cargo ship "Progress-93" delivered 2,8 tons of cargo to the ISS

To the International Space Station (ISS) the new Russian cargo ship "Progress-93" has arrived, having delivered 2,8 tons of food, fuel and other equipment for Expedition participants 73.

The ship docked with the Zvezda module 13 September, about 20:23 Kyiv time (17:23 UTC), when the ISS flew at altitude 418 km above the north-east of Kazakhstan. The launch took place two days earlier from the Baikonur Cosmodrome.

Progress-93 will remain at the station for about six months. At the end of the mission, it will detach and burn up in the dense layers of the Earth's atmosphere.

Four spacecraft are already in orbit: one cargo "Progress", the SpaceX Dragon truck, as well as two manned vehicles — the Russian Soyuz and Crew Dragon Endeavour, which performs the Crew-11 mission for NASA.

Another truck, Northrop Grumman's Cygnus, is expected to arrive in the near future, the launch of which is scheduled for 14 September, and arrival at the station — at 17 September.
