The European Space Agency will receive a record budget

Budget of the European Space Agency (THIS) for the next three years will be 22,1 billion euros, which is a record indicator in the history of the organization. The decision to increase the ESA budget was made at a meeting of the Council of Ministers of the member countries of the organization, that happened in Bremen. He
grew by 32 % (17 % adjusted for inflation) compared to the previous three-year budget, approved 2022 year.

The record budget will allow ESA to start implementing ambitious missions under the Cosmic Vision program, including LISA and NewAthena. It also lays the foundation for the start of technology development, necessary for the implementation of the Voyage project 2050. It involves the launch of a large-scale mission, which will search for traces of life on Enceladus. Much attention will also be paid to the development of the Moon. ESA will prepare a number of missions, the most important of which is the Argonaut lander project. The ExoMars mission was also confirmed, during which a rover will be landed on Mars to search for traces of life. The organization will also continue cooperation with NASA
within the Artemis program. ESA hopes to send its astronauts to the moon in one of the future missions. In the words of ESA Director General Josef Aschbacher, representatives of France will be the first Europeans on Earth's satellite, Germany and Italy.
